Welcome to Charles County Public Law Library's website.

The law library is open to the public Monday — Friday 8:30 A.M. — 4:30 P.M. Closed on legal holidays.

The Charles County Public Law Library is located on the lower level of the Circuit Court for Charles County at 200 Charles Street in La Plata, Maryland.

Online Catalog

The online catalog may be accessed from either of the two computers in the law library or online from any computer with Internet access. All holdings of the law library are listed. Please contact the law librarian with any questions regarding the catalog.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Charles County Law Library is to serve the law-related information needs of the judiciary, the legal community, government agencies and members of the public by providing all citizens with access to accurate and up-to-date legal reference materials.
